James Fenwick to Benjamin Jones - January 11, 1840
Letter
This is a letter written by James Fenwick to his uncle Benjamin Jones. Fenwick asks if Jones would be willing to rent him the Lisbon farm, aka the land including the house that became Fenwick Manor. Fenwick seems concerned over how the land is being treated, and has ideas on how to better the fences and other things. He is also uncertain as to how well Mr. Gibbs (previous renter/caretaker) is taking care of the land.
