This is an article about William Bolger and his book that he hoped to publish to bring attention to Whitesbog. Bolger's report, written in 1982, helped to make Whitesbog a protected historic site in 1988. The article notes that the state buying the land in 1966 and 1968 was apart of it's "Green Acres Program".
