James Fenwick to Benjamin Jones - February 25, 1842
Letter
In this letter Fenwick lets Jones know that he received the check for $250. Fenwick also requested clover and barley seeds, and expresses understanding that he spends more than he makes as being the reason that Jones does not always respond quickly. But, he does point out the state the farm was in when he got there, and how much work it has required.
