James Fenwick to Andrew Jones - October 27, 1859
Letter
In this letter Fenwick gives Jones an update on how things are going at the farm, it seems that managing all the workers can be tiring.
This was his third crop and apparently he considered the prospect of $1,000 return very satisfactory. There are no letters 'till that of Jan. 2, 1862, which tells of disappointment in both 1860 and 1861.
