The featured article of this issue is about blueberry plants named "catawba" and "redskin" which were considered albino, and were pink/purple in color. These varieties were developed by Frederick Coville and were released to the public in 1932. In 2004, the University of Florida developed similarly colored blueberry plants.
This issue also includes information about the upcoming blueberry festival.
