Great way to see where cranberries come from! Whitesbog is an 1857 historic Cranberry Farm with cranberry bogs, a Cranberry & Blueberry Museum full of images and tools used to harvest and sort cranberries, homes of farm workers and a General Store filled with cranberry products where we will host your tasting. Part of the Oceanspray growers cooperative, the NJ Cranberry farms of the Pinelands carry on the traditions while incorporating new technology each year. 

The Whitesbog Preservation Trust nonprofit education team leads these tours and can tell you all about the changes over time, get you hands on with cranberries and tasting the super tart superfood! The bogs at Whitesbog are in the state forest and we work with the local farm to share updates on how things are going for multi-generation cranberry growers. 

Walk will be on uneven sandy roads, there is an option to drive to locations. Whitesbog is in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, full of walking trails around the cranberry bogs and the Pine Barrens woodlands. Tours are non refundable donations to the charity, in case of heavy rain we will  postpone and you can attend another tour.
