7-10-1914 "Harrow with Elizabeth White in Background"
Photograph
Photograph from July 10th, 1914. The tool shown is a spike-tooth harrow which was used to soften dirt before planting. In the background are three people; two men and a woman, as one of the figures is wearing a skirt. We can assume from the posture and dress it is Elizabeth White as she looks down at the crouching man, possibly showing her the plant of taking a picture of it
The photograph is sepia tone. On the back of the photo is the date.
