April 18, 1923
Harold Butler of Maine is visiting in town. Will be putting a lot of the energy on his farm into harvesting blueberries in the coming months.
3. "Peaches and Cream and Berries" - Rochester, NY Post-Express
June 2, 1923
Farmers in Ulster County, NY talk about the type of women they like to pick their berries: those with a "peaches and cream complexion". Says that men are not good to pick berries. His reasoning is that women with lighter complexions will not eat the fruit as they think it will harm their skin.
