An article about the 2001 Historical Preservation Awards held at the state house in Trenton, on May 12, 2001. This event also declared May 13-19, 2001 as "Historic Preservation Week". Whitesbog Preservation Trust was presented an award for its oral history project in which 40 former residents and workers from Whitesbog were interviewed at a reunion in June 2000. This resulted in 10 hours of broadcast quality footage thanks to the NJ Council for the Humanities.
